Happy holidays everyone. Hope it's good for you. This will be our first Christmas without my grandfather. Already it doesn't feel the same. Everybody is doing their own thing this year. It's definately strange to not have the whole family together. The hardest part about this christmas is that I'm still very angry. My uncle was killed almost two weeks ago. He and my aunt were sitting on the side of road with hazards flashing. A guy in a truck hit them from behind and spun the car into a tree. My uncle died at the scene. He had a broken neck. My aunt was in the hospital. She had blood on the brain, a broken clavicle,and three broken ribs. The guy who hit them was drunk. Somebody had reported the car driving erratically and the police had been looking for him. This is his second dwi. And he caused an accident before that resulted in injury or death. And the messed up thing is that the most time he's facing is 9 years. MAX. 9 years. James is in for 6 years. Three years less, for batter and running. He didn't kill anyone and he's probably going to do more time than this guy. What the hell is this.

Sunday sucked. People decided not to show up to work that day. I got off Sonic and went next door only to find that the store hadn't been opened that day. The girl never showed up. So I had to open the store. I've never opened so the boss had to talk me through all that stuff over the phone. I started training the new guy tonight so he should be good to go by this weekend. We were in a panic trying to find a replacement. No way was I going to work 9am to midnight on Sat. My boss is getting married that day and she and her daughter can't work that day. I was freaking out cuz I leave for Phoenix next week. I am greatly excited. The new guy seems to be doing well. He picked up on stuff pretty quickly.

My dad came home on Friday. He has atrial fibrillation. He's on blood thinners and blood pressure medicine. He's been pretty tired but is doing okay. Just happy to have him home and he's glad to be here for christmas.

Show last night was good. Lacuna Coil was awesome. Spent most of my weekend sleeping and I'm looking forward to this being my last week at work. I only work three days so that makes me happy. I take my car in on Wed for pictures and the estimate so I can have it fixed. Need to find a new job, I think I am going to forgo school again this semester and work two jobs so I can get back into my own place. I'm tired of living at home. So next week will be spent searching for work. Not much else going on at the moment. I think I will be going to the District for a bit tonight. I haven't been out since the burlesque show. Off to finish cleaning and then get ready togo out.

Another boring night

As much as I love doing absolutely nothing it gets boring sometimes. At least if I were home I could take a nap. I spent about two hours outside staring at the fire. Someone found a dog earlier so she's here with me at the guardhouse. Very pretty. She's quite tame and quiet. She's just been sitting at my feet most of the night. If no one claims her by morning she's being taken to the vet and there are three people who want to keep her so we'll watch them fight it out. She's sleeping right now, I kinda like the company even if it is just a dog. She sat outside by the fire with me earlier. Hopefully the medic will come back soon, he was feeding her earlier and she seems to like him.
